As a kid I was a huge bluesfan, I'm still a fan. This was one of my favourites.

Saint Cook

It's Sinterklaas days again in Holland. He arrived by steamboat last Saturday. And he went right to the kitchen to create some food for the children's page I work for. He did that as a favor to me, because I behave so good all the time.
This creation is Dutch rusk, butter, chocolate confetti/sprinkles, two raisins and a stripe of red marmalade. And it's the head of Zwarte Piet (Black Pete).

Too much waterpillar

Testresult: > 2 liters of water a day is healthy for people, but way too much for caterpillars.
He looks like the Michelin Character.

Nice activity, wonderful water and sun and the final conclusion > "Everything is beautiful today."

Color Injection as well

The kids can inject themselves with some fun, with this colorplate I made. They can download it from the Injection's Program website. Pencils must be from themselves, they can't be downloaded. Neither do the injections. We still have to meet some people in the flesh.

Character I made for the website of the Dutch Vaccination Program.
By the way, today I feel injected with the flue. I feel shit! Don't only feel it, it comes out as well and it is way sour. Blèg!

Used Water

What machines and other stuff is connected to the sewer? That is what this drawing is about, I made for a Dutch-schooltelevision magazine.

New Water

Lightbulb with mustard

What does a marten eat? If it is not obvious (to the kids who get the magazine) after reading the editorial text, they will find in my drawing that only one (food)item is for the liking of the marten. Never mind the fact that a lightbulb with mustard sounds delicious.
If I was Marten, I would walk beside the given paths and at least take the lightbulb as well and go home after a delicious meal, screw the bulb into my bedsidelamp and read a book till my eyelids feel heavy and I slide into the nightly adventures.

Whole spoonful of that stuff

There is music that saves lifes! To me that was/is Blues, Ry Cooder, Little Feat, Dayna Kurtz, The La's, Steve Reich, Neil Young and last but not least Lovin Spoonful. And this number is where the spoon is loaded to the limit. If I could decide, they should play it at my funeral.

Arrived with the train, take the bike

Becoming a member "OVfiets" gives you the opportunity to easily get a bike at the station and thus easy door to door transport or a great way to visit some other cities or any event in one of those cities.

Time to plough the field

It's the time of the year, that is if you think literally. As a metaphor it is the time of year, or any other period, when you are ready. ( By the way: blades of a plough, in dutch, are the same word as for scissors.)
