Mill-Signlanguage

The position of the sails/vanes of a mill in Holland express a certain occasion. Top left and big drawing = a joyous event like marriage or birth. Top right means there is a mourning period.
Bottom left and right positions tell the attentive observant that the mill has a short or longer period of rest.

Freehand brush
click picture to play or enlargeFreehand is a fabulous vectorprogram. Sad enough, Illustrator has won the vectorbattle, not by being better, but by being the little brother of Photoshop. Adobe is owner now of Freehand and is not going to develop it.
A silent moment in remembrance of a great program.......Thank you!
I have been playing with the thin/thick-brush, of which you see the Objectproperties-panel to the left, and wanted to try it.
Instead of my normally pen and ink lines, now vectorlines, mostly drawn from the hand with the (freehand) pencil tool and on some more detailed parts with the (constructing) pen tool.

Have I been drinking?

Is this the new design of a financial or postal company? The bottle says "No!" but the rest says "Yeah!". Cigarettes and the likes are are no longer tolerated as common and accepted. Booze is somewhat alike. It can be a joy for people which can trust themselves. Even when they are not stable at a certain point. But has the fact that it appears in the same "Dangerous to Health" corner, have to bear the consequence to have a liqourstore to look like an efficiency company.
Only plus is the briljant idea of the bottle in the "G". But design goes further than an idea.
"Goodday sir. What amount of wine would you like to withdraw today?" "What's the interestrate on Whiskey? Is it somewhere around 40%?"
