Dutch illustrator/political cartoonmaker Len Munnik thought my website great. Could I make him one? Turned out he wanted it different. He and his wife liked it to have diashows. As a stubborn tiger I understand when I meet another one. I made it for him, eventually.

No, not me. Although I used to be called a pig, when young. Because I always played outside and failed to stay clean.

Neighbourhood-Farms?

Or is it suburban farms? Mostly in Holland these are farms with certain kinds of educational or recreative means of existance. "Hi, neighbour!" "Hello, neighbour!"

Helpless

"Gosh, you are a mamma's boy, hey!" To more or less show kids the difference about birds that are quickly ready to leave the nest, right after birth (nidifugous/precocial birds) and the one's that stay helpless in the nest for a longer time.

Inge

Inge v Noortwijk is a serious biology-illustrator. We work together on the magazine accompanying a school television program here in Holland. Mostly I make the funny stuff, also serious things. And what is more serious than fun, eh? This is the first time, we made something together. A drawing of mine, an american tourist, is placed inside a drawing of a touristic flowergarden. Inge send me a sketch, which I used as means of placing my drawing.
By the way. Inge is nominated boulder of dutch province Utrecht. We call someone a boulder when someone is super. Nominations in this case are for big achievements. Inge started the creative course centre in her residence, Amerongen. She also works at the Naturalis Museum in Holland. Here you can find 3 Dragonfly-illustrations she made for the Dragonfly-atlas.

Agricultural Contractors

This weeks episode of the Children's Farm is about agricultural contractors. Looking for a means of illustration I got the idea to make a machine covering the whole page in which the text could be included, in stead of the normal page layout. They liked the idea and here it is.

Sadness

As a result of the sadness, mourning about my loosing Silverlock, I asked myself to make a clear drawing about it. I now have the urge to tell it again in a lot of words, but I rather leave it at this at the moment. The picture tells it.
