City of Insects

The University of Wageningen organises a special week about Insects. "City of Insects".
I cut my drawing in two parts, because the maximum width on Blogger is 400 px and the details get very small.

Illustration Friday: Run 3

Did not plan to make another version of the "Run"-topic. This one however rolled out of my pen, pausing from work. And I liked it. It differs from the other two. First contribution was a expressive manner to use the word, second contribution shows people (and animals), who are running voluntary. This however is an example of the forced run. Like Donald Duck had to do so often. Chased by the mean dog at a house where he tried to sell something or chased by his mad neighbour.

Saudek

During my week in Prague I also saw a ehibition with photographs of Jan Saudek. My kids thought the most a bit pornographic and were shocked a little and did not like it. I thought it was too much of the same, but undeniable contained some excellent beauties and he gives us unique, somewhat raw images. Raw from the outside tender from the inside, I would say.

Alphonse Mucha

During the holidays, I've been to Prague for a week. Too much tourists and too much heat. But one of the delights I met was this stained glass window in the palace's St. Vitus cathedral, made by Alphonse Mucha. Saw an exhibition of his graphical work also. I like these windows better.

With head

Uploaded my profilethumb with head, today. The headless-one is gone, but has not changed on my blog yet. Apparenly takes a while to show. But, ah, appears when publishing a new day.
